Sunny spells
Wet in south Monday

Sunday
Any residual showers across Kent should soon clear to sunny spells. A few showers to come across northern Scotland and Northern Ireland this morning. Most places though will be fine and dry with sunny spells. A few showers will persist across northern Scotland and Northern Ireland with a few scattered ones possible across north east England in the afternoon. Elsewhere expect a fine afternoon of sunny spells. Expect maximum temperatures of 16 to 22 Celsius.


Sunday night
This evening most of the showers should soon fade away with some early evening sunshine likely for most of the country. Cloud though will increase in the west as outbreaks of rain reach Northern Ireland and the far west of Wales during the night. Central and eastern areas will have well broken cloud. Expect minimums of 10 to 14 Celsius.


Monday
An area of moderate to heavy rain is expected to spill inn across Wales and the southern half of England during the course of the day. To the north it looks much drier but with a good deal of cloud and a few scattered showers. Rain is likely to linger across Wales, The Midlands and the south of England into the evening and for much of the night. Fair and dry across northern parts of the country. Expect top temperatures of 17 to 20 Celsius.


Tuesday
Some sunshine to be found across Scotland this morning otherwise a rather cloudy day for much of the country. Across northern Scotland it may stay dry but elsewhere we expect lots of showers and longer spells of rain. The rain looks heaviest across Northern Ireland in the afternoon. This heavier pulse of rain moves into Scotland in the evening. Generally a cloudy night across the country with occasional rain. Expect top temperatures of 17 to 22 Celsius.
