Monday
Some early sunshine to come across eastern areas this morning. Mostly it's a cloudy day with a few showers across Wales and the south west. Later in the morning rain reaches Cornwall and western parts of Wales. That area of rain becomes heavy in the afternoon as it spreads eastward into all of Wales and central and southern parts of England. Some heavy showers to affect northern parts of Scotland. East Anglia and Kent look dry. Expect maximum temperatures of 16 to 20 Celsius.

Monday night
Across much of England and Wales it's looking very wet for the evening and night. Heavy rain is expected that becomes lighter during the course of the night. Across the far north of England along with Scotland and Northern Ireland it will stay dry in the evening and night. Expect minimums of 10 to 15 Celsius.

Tuesday
A cloudy day in store for the country with outbreaks of rain which may be heavy near the southern coasts. After a dry morning across Scotland, rain moves in for the afternoon and turns heavy in the west. Patchy rain tends to linger into the evening becoming confined to the far south overnight while showers affect the north west of Britain. A rather windy night to come across Britain. Expect top temperatures of 17 to 21 Celsius.

Wednesday
A number of blustery showers to come across the country this morning with rain across Northern Ireland and northern Scotland. Many of the showers tend to fade across England and Wales in the afternoon. Some sunnier spells then develop. Quite windy today, especially across Northern Ireland and Scotland. Rain persists across Scotland and Northern Ireland into the evening and night. Dry across the rest of the United Kingdom. Expect top temperatures of 17 to 22 Celsius.
