Thursday
A breezy morning across Scotland with showers merging to longer spells of rain across western areas. Eastern parts of Scotland should be brighter and dry with some sunny spells. Northern Ireland will be bright and mostly dry with sunny spells at first, although some outbreaks of rain later. England and Wales are likely to be mostly dry with broken cloud and sunny spells. Cloudy and damp in southern Ireland with drizzle on hills. Highs near 8 to 12C.


Thursday Night
A cloudy night ahead. Outbreaks of drizzle over Ireland, southwest Scotland and northwest England as well as parts of Wales. Drier elsewhere and this cloud preventing temperatures falling too far. Lows near 3 to 6C.

 
 
 


Friday
A ridge of high pressure builds northwards through the UK on Friday. Plenty of dry weather around with cloud breaking and some bright or sunny spells developing. Thicker cloud in Ireland with rain, most of it in the west. Western coasts and Wales, England and Scotland may have low cloud and drizzle at times. Highs near 9 to 13C.
 


Saturday
A shallow area of low pressure over the west of the UK bringing cloud and outbreaks of rain and drizzle here. Tot the east cloud is going to be increasing but most places should stay dry here although will be rather cloudy. Further rain in the west of Scotland but dry to the east. Highs near 9 to 12C.
