A cloudy day again with lots of cloud over the whole of the British Isles. A few spots of drizzle over northwestern coasts and hills. Thicker cloud in western Scotland bringing moe persistent rain, some of it heavy. Staying mostly cloudy for the majority of places, only the briefest of brighter spells in southeast England. Less breezy than recent days. Highs at 9 to 12C.
 

Wednesday Night
A more damp night in Scotland with outbreaks of rain. The most persistent of the rain in western Scotland. Damp too in northwest England with some drizzle in western Wales. A few spots of drizzle over the hills in southern England too. Some bright spells further east. Windy in Scotland. Lows at 4 to 7C.
 

Thursday
A mild southwesterly flow affecting all parts of the British Isles on Thursday. There will be plenty of cloud, some drizzle affecting western coasts and hills of Wales and England. More persistent rain affecting northern and western Scotland as well as western Ireland, this heavy at times. A few brighter spells in central and eastern England. The winds may reach gale force in Scotland and Ireland as well as the far north of England. Highs at 9 to 12C.

Friday
A cold front clears south on Friday morning with brighter, colder weather following from the north. This gives a cooler, brighter day for many with some good spells of sunshine. The will be some showers, especially in areas exposed to the fresh west to northwest wind. The showers falling as snow in Scotland and northern England. Highs at 4 to 8C.
