A 022346Z GPM 89GHZ MICROWAVE PARTIAL IMAGE SHOWS AN INTENSE CONVECTIVE CORE SURROUNDING THE MICROWAVE EYE FEATURE. THE INITIAL INTENSITY HAS BEEN INCREASED BASED ON AN ASSESSMENT OF AGENCY DVORAK INTENSITY ESTIMATES AND A STRONGER CONVECTIVE SIGNATURE IN MICROWAVE IMAGERY.
