Thursday
A fair and breezy start to Thursday with a risk of some gales across northern England and Scotland. One or two showers affecting northern and western coast of Scotland too. Elsewhere it will be dry with spells of sunshine. This afternoon sees the wind is decreasing and most areas having a very pleasant afternoon with good spells of sunshine. It is going to be mostly dry, although there is always a risk of a shower in northern Scotland. Highs at 28C in southeast England, 15C in northern Scotland, 22C in southern Ireland.

Thursday Night
Overall, a fair night with dry conditions for most. Cloud tending to increase later in the night, especially across central and western Scotland. There could be some low cloud drifting onto the coast of southern Ireland, southern Wales and Southwest England. Lows at 8 to 12C.
 

Friday
High-pressure to the side of the country on Friday. Plenty of sunny spells to start the day, although always more cloud affecting northern areas of England, Scotland and Ireland. The cloud is broken even here with some sunshine coming through. Any local ride across southern Ireland, southern Wales and Southwest England should tend to break and lift. A risk of some drizzle in north-west Ireland. Highs at 29C in the far south of England, widely 23 to 27C, 17C in northwest Scotland and 21 to 23C in Ireland.

Saturday
A weak front lying through Scotland and Ireland on Saturday. This is going to be bringing an area of cloud along gates together with an odd spot of showery rain over western Scotland and possibly the far west of Ireland. Brighter skies in northern Scotland, but a few showers here. For England, Wales, southern and eastern Ireland, it should be a fair day with more spells of sunshine. Temperatures could reach 31C in southeast England, 21C in eastern Scotland, 14C in western Scotland and 17 to 23C in Ireland.
