A ridge of high pressure builds on Saturday. This is going to bring fairer conditions and lighter winds to start Saturday with good sunny spells to the south. A front over western Ireland will be giving rain, and this rain spreads east during the afternoon to be over much of Scotland, northern England, Wales and southwest England by late afternoon and evening. Becoming windier too. Highs at 6 to 12C, warmest to the west.

Saturday Night
Rain spreads east through the night, clearing southeast England by daylight on Sunday. Clearer skies follow to the west with frequent showers for western coasts and hills. A drier night for eastern Ireland and drying out later for eastern Scotland and northeast England. A windy night across the country with gales to the north and west. Overnight lows at 4 to 10C.
 

Sunday
Low pressure to the north on Sunday with a cooler, westerly flow affecting all areas. Sunshine and showers for most to start, showers most frequent to the west. A deep area of low pressure looks to develop west of Ireland through the morning bringing strong gales and heavy outbreaks of rain to Northern Ireland, Ireland, Wales and southwest England later. High temperatures at 5 to 10C.

Monday
Low pressure is to the east on Monday with a ridge to the west. The resulting northerly flow brings colder weather to all. Early rain clears quickly to the south then isolated showers may affecting northern and eastern coasts, these wintry in places. Drier to the west with good spells of sunshine. A cold day at 3 to 9C.
