A windy, cloudy and ever dampening day across Ireland, northern England and southern Scotland. Northern and western Wales will have periods of rain too. The bursts of rain tending to become heavier on western facing coasts and hills into the afternoon. Northern Scotland should be drier and brighter with sunny spells. Much of southern and southeast England is likely to be dry with some brighter spells although always plenty of cloud. An increasing risk of some patchy rain and drizzle on the hills later. Highs at 8 to 13C.


Friday Night
A cloudy night to come for all parts of the UK and Ireland. There will be sporadic outbreaks of rain and drizzle, most of these affecting high ground. Staying rather breezy in more southern parts of Ireland, Wales and England. Lowest temperatures near 4 to 9C.

 
 
 


Saturday
Low pressure north of Scotland on Saturday with a ridge of higher pressure to the south. It is likely to be a rather breezy and cloudy start to the day for many. Outbreaks of rain affecting high ground and coasts in the west. Some brighter s[ells developing in more central and eastern areas, especially where protected by high ground. Temperatures rising to between 10 and 14C.


Sunday
Low pressure is going to be to the north of Scotland on Sunday. Fronts will be passing eastwards bringing outbreaks of rain, most over the west of Scotland, Wales, Ireland and England. Drier in eastern and southern England with some brighter spells here. Heavy showers and windy conditions across northern and western Scotland. Tops near 8 to 13C.
