Sunday
A band of rain extends through southwestern, southern and central parts of England on Sunday as well as into south Wales, possibly turning heavy for some at times. Drier with some bright spells across East Anglia and southeast England. Largely dry and fine elsewhere although some scattered blustery showers are likely to affect western parts of Ireland, Scotland and northwest England. Windy for the far north and far west with coastal gales for northwest Scotland. High temperatures at 14C in southeast England, mainly 9 to 12C elsewhere.

Sunday Night
Outbreaks of rain persist for Wales and western parts of England overnight, extending into northern England by Monday morning. A rather cloudy night for most areas though clearer skies develop to the west of Ireland and Scotland where there will also likely be some blustery showers overnight. Winds ease though will still be quite gusty in exposed parts of the northwest. Overnight lows at 6 to 8C across much of England and Wales, 1 to 4C for Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and the north of England.

Monday
A wet morning for some as a band of rain extends from northeast to south-central England. Rain could linger into the afternoon but gradually clears from the south. Drier elsewhere with bright and sunny skies for many though showers affect northwestern coasts and hills of Scotland and western parts of Ireland. Increasing winds across Ireland will bring rain here into the evening. Highs at 8 to 14C.

Tuesday
A wet and windy day for much of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland. Gales affect exposed areas. Rain spreads into northwestern parts of England and Wales during the afternoon. A drier and generally brighter day to the southeast, but some low cloud, mist and fog along southern coasts and hills. High temperatures at 9 to 13C.
