Wet & windy Saturday
Showers Sunday

Saturday
A chilly start to Saturday as a ridge of high pressure affects the UK. Increasing wind and cloud over Ireland quickly moves east through the morning. The UK stays dry initially with sunny spells although cloud increases from the west into the afternoon and winds will pick up as well. Rain arrives over western Scotland by mid afternoon and may be rather heavy. Western coasts of Wales and England will see increasing amounts of low cloud and drizzle by the end of the day. Staying dry for more inland areas. A milder day, after a cool start, with temperatures at 8 to 12C.

Saturday Night
Rain clears to the southeast of the UK overnight from Saturday into Sunday with showers, some heavy, following for western coasts and hills. Mostly cloudy overnight with the best chance of clearer skies to the southwest. Overnight lows staying above freezing at 4 to 9C.

Sunday
A front clears eastwards on Sunday morning. This leaves breezy conditions with a mix of sunshine and showers following from the west. A few of the showers could be heavy, especially on western coasts and hills, and may spread to eastern parts of Ireland and the UK at times. Staying mostly dry for northeast Scotland. Highs at 6 to 11C.

Monday
A mixed day as fronts bring rain and stronger winds from the west. Rain spreads across Ireland and into western parts of the UK through the morning, reaching all parts of the UK through the afternoon. Gales possible at times for western coastal areas. Turning milder in the south too. Highs at 6C in northern Scotland, 13C in southern England.
