Saturday
Low pressure stays over the UK and Ireland on Saturday. This brings another unsettled day. Rainy and rather windy for many. The rain is likely to be heavy across much of England, Wales and eastern Scotland in particular. This rain probably slips into eastern Ireland in the afternoon, whilst western Ireland stays drier but windy. Southeastern parts of the UK becoming drier in the afternoon with a few bright or sunny spells developing. Highs at 9 to 12C in the wetter west, 15 or 16C as any brightness comes through in the east.

Saturday Night
Through the night, rain spreads into Northern Ireland but clears from southern Scotland. Further heavy rain affects Wales as well as central and southern parts of England. Windy overnight with coastal gales for eastern Scotland, southwest Ireland and Irish Sea coasts. Overnight lows at 6 or 7C for Ireland, 9 to 11C for Northern Ireland, England, Wales and much of Scotland and 12 or 13C for eastern Scotland.

Sunday
Pressure stays low on Sunday. More periods of rain rotating around the area of low pressure which will be centred over England. The rain will be heavy at times, and although there is much uncertainty, it does look as if this will be heaviest in Ireland and through southern England and Wales. Some showers developing in central and northern England as well as eastern Scotland, these becoming heavy and possible thundery in places. High temperatures at 10 to 16C.

Monday
Low pressure remains over the UK and Ireland on Monday centred over northern England and southern Scotland. Bands of rain affect eastern Scotland, northern Ireland, Wales and southwestern parts of England. A mix of sunshine and showers elsewhere, some of which could be locally heavy and thundery. High temperatures at 11 to 15C.
