Saturday
High pressure keeps the weather fair for most into the start of the holiday weekend. Any mist or fog patches should clear quickly to leave a warm day with some good spells of sunshine, particularly in the southeast. It will be cloudier over the northwest throughout the day with a few showers and spots of rain for northern and western Ireland and northern Scotland. High temperatures for most at 18 to 21C, warmer in the southeast at 22-23C. Just 11-14C expected in the northwest of Scotland.

Saturday Night
Rain and showers will persist through the night for northern and western parts of Scotland and Ireland. The heaviest rain over the Scottish Highlands. Elsewhere it will be dry with cloudy skies with the exception of the far southeast where skies should stay clear. Overnight lows around 7 to 10C.
 

Easter Sunday
Sunday sees low pressure continuing to impact the far northwest so it will be an overcast day for the island of Ireland, Scotland, much of Wales and the north of England. Breezy too in the northwest. Any early morning mist or fog patches over central and southern England should clear quickly as temperatures rise. It will be a showery day for Scotland and Ireland with showers merging to give longer spells of rain at times - particularly for western areas. Elsewhere it should be a mostly dry day, feeling particularly warm in the sunshine in the southeast. High temperatures at 16 to 21C.

Holiday Monday
It looks as though high pressure will remain dominant through Holiday Monday bringing a dry day with plenty of sunshine to much of the UK and Ireland. Any early morning mist or fog patches should quickly clear though the sun may remain hazy through the day for western areas. Through the afternoon there may be a flare up of showers over southwestern England, south Wales and Ireland. Elsewhere there will be a good deal of sunshine around and it will feel particularly warm inland, away from the coast. Highs at 17 to 21C.
