Warm & sunny
Changing tomorrow

Wednesday
Morning mist and fog patches in sheltered areas this morning. These will be clearing quickly to leave the day fine, dry and sunny. Little change into this afternoon, feeling very warm again. Thicker cloud may affect the far north of Scotland and western Scotland, although it should be remaining dry. Temperatures at 15 to 19C for most, perhaps to 21C in a few spots.

Wednesday Night
Clear skies and dry to start tonight. Cloud is going to tend to increase from the west as the night progresses. This cloud may bring some outbreaks of patchy rain and drizzle across southern Wales and southwest England towards morning. Some drizzle in the far north of Scotland too. Lows at 1C in central Scotland, 4 to 7C elsewhere.

Thursday
A cooler day for all on Thursday. Weak fronts will be bringing more cloud than recent days. Outbreaks of rain across Ireland as well as Wales, central and southern England. These are likely to be fading into this afternoon, although always spots of rain i the far west. Drier across northern England and Scotland. Becoming brighter and drier in western Ireland later as a ridge of higher pressure builds. Highs at 8 to 14C.

Friday
A ridge of high pressure passes east through the country on Friday. This brings a fair start in eastern and southern areas with good spells of sunshine. More cloud always affecting western areas. Rain may affect Ireland too, most of this in western and southern areas where it may be persistent. Drier elsewhere. Breezier in the west too. Highs at 12 to 14C.
