Monday
A rather breezy day to come, especially across Scotland this afternoon but still quite warm and humid. A dry morning across northern Scotland and the Northern Isles. An area of heavy, thundery rain across Wales and the northern half of England will spread up into southern Scotland during the morning. Local, torrential downpours could produce some local flooding. In the afternoon rain is expected to affect Northern Ireland and Scotland with drizzle, mist and murk across northern England. Still some heavy rain is likely across western Scotland. To the south it should be mainly dry with a good deal of cloud, Expect maximums of 15 to 24 Celsius.


Monday Night
The heaviest of the rain clears north parts of Scotland into the North Sea during the evening but still rather misty and murky with patchy rain and drizzle across Scotland, Northern Ireland, northwest England, Wales and the West Country. A mild night to come with minimum temperatures of 12 to 14 Celsius.


Tuesday
It remains very breezy across northern areas today and for most it's staying unsettled. Outbreaks of rain to come across Scotland, Wales and western England in the morning that turns more showery across Wales and western England in the afternoon. The cloud should break t sunnier spells and occasional showers for central and eastern parts of England. The rain across north Scotland persists through the evening and the night while the showers fade across the rest of Britain. It's likely to become misty by morning with some low cloud developing. Expect highs of tops of 13 to 20 Celsius.


Wednesday
An area of high pressure becomes centred near south west England so a more settled day to come. There will be some showers across Northern Ireland and Scotland, perhaps down into Yorkshire. The rest of England and Wales will have a dry day with morning mist and low cloud breaking to sunnier spells. Rain continues across Scotland for the evening and the night. A fine evening for England and Wales with some late sunshine to end the day. Here it stays dry overnight with clear skies and some mist patches by morning. Expect highs of 15 to 20 Celsius.
