Wednesday
A widespread frost on Wednesday morning with some icy roads and pavements especially where showers have fallen during the evening. There will be plenty of sunshine around for most areas and this will last into the afternoon. It is going to be feeling cold for all. One or two snow showers may affect windward facing coasts such as North Wales and also the eastern coast of England. Cloud generally increasing in the west. Temperatures rising to between 2 and 4°C for most.

Wednesday Night
Cloud will be increasing tonight but not enough to stop a frost from forming once again. There may be some outbreaks of drizzle or light rain across Ireland. Western coasts and hills are likely to have some low cloud and perhaps some drizzle by the morning. Lowest temperatures around -3°C in the east, closer to 5°C in the west.
 

Thursday
A warm front will pass eastwards through Ireland and into the west of the UK on Thursday. Cloud will be increasing from the west bringing some outbreaks of light rain and drizzle across many western areas of the UK and Ireland. Some brightness or sunny spells across the east of England and eastern Scotland. Low cloud and mist will increasingly affect western parts. Staying chilly for many with highs around 4 or 5C, but becoming milder in the west at 9 or 10C.

Friday
Low pressure will be to the north of Scotland on Friday. Fronts will be bringing rain across Scotland, some of it heavy on the hills. Rather cloudy skies across much of England, Wales and Ireland with outbreaks of rain at times in the morning. It is likely that a few bright spells may develop particularly across parts of the Midlands and northeast England during the afternoon. Western parts of Ireland are always prone to outbreaks of rain. A fresh westerly breeze will be strong in Scotland and Northern Ireland. High temperatures of 8 to 10°C.
