Cloud through Ireland and the west of the UK on Tuesday bringing outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Some showers in northern England and western Scotland on Tuesday morning, but these fading to leave sunny spells in the afternoon. Elsewhere the day should be bright with sunny spells and mostly dry although isolated showers are possible. Highs at 21C in southeast England, 16 to 18C elsewhere.

Low cloud and some drizzle afecting western coasts and hills overnight. More central nd eastern areas are likely to be dry with broken cloud. More persistent rain could affect the west of Scotland. Lows near 12 to 15C.

 
 
 

Wednesday
Low pressure west of Scotland on Wednesday. This brings a windy day through western Scotland and western Ireland as an occluded front edges eastwards bringing rain into these areas. Broken cloud for much of the rest of the UK and Ireland in the morning but bright or sunny spells developing as the day progresses. Staying damp across northwest Scotland throughout the day. Highs at 23C in southeast England, 17 to 19C in northern and western areas.

Thursday
Low pressure remains west of Scotland on Thursday. Showery outbreaks of rain in western Scotland becoming more persistent. Drizzly and windy in western Ireland. Breezy for the rest of Scotland and eastern Ireland with sunny spells. Some cloud and showery bursts of rain in central and eastern England, these tending to fade during the day. Sunny spells developing for most and dry conditions too. Highs at 16 to 23C.
