Sunny spells for England and Wales on Tuesday morning, although there will be some cloud here and there. Thicker cloud in northern England, Ireland and Scotland, although it should be staying dry. Some drizzle in western Scotland and perhaps the far west of Ireland. Not much changes this afternoon although the chance of a spot of rain over the high ground of Scotland and Northern Ireland. Best sunshine in the south. Highs at 14C in western Scotland, 22C in southern England.

Tuesday Night
Dry for most parts of the country through the course of tonight. Clear spells, the best of them in central and eastern areas. Always more cloud across the north with the risk of some drizzle affecting western coast of Scotland. Few spots of drizzle could affect the western coast of Ireland too. Lows at 8 to 12C.
 

Wednesday
High pressure dominates through Wednesday. This brings plenty of dry weather to England and Wales, some bright or sunny spells too. More cloud for the north and west of Scotland and western Ireland where there is a chance of some drizzle at times. It may be that southern coasts of Ireland see some drizzle later too. The best of the sunshine through the day in southeast England. Highs at 16 to 25C.

Thursday
High pressure east of the UK on Thursday. Cloud and periods of rain for central and western Scotland as well as parts of northern and western Ireland. Dry in other areas of the British Isles. Best of any sunshine in the south and east with more cloud to the north and west. A risk of some low cloud afecting the western coasts of Wales and England at times. Highs at 28C in southern England, 23 to 26C for many, 14C in northwest Scotland.
