Friday
A weak cold front will be passing south through Scotland, northern England and Ireland this morning. It will bring some spots of rain to these areas, especially on the hills. Tending to become brighter in western Scotland and western Ireland as the morning progresses. The risk of some morning mist and fog patches to the south and east, but these lifting to leave sunny spells for many. Cloud the increases here the afternoon as the remnants of the cold front arrive. Turning brighter in northern England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland as the afternoon wears on. Highs at 12C in southern Ireland and southwest England, 7C in northern Scotland and eastern England.

Friday Night
It may briefly become frosty in parts of central Scotland this evening. However, cloud increasing here will lift temperatures through the early hours. Cloud also increasing across northern England and Ireland after midnight, the chance of some drizzle over western coasts and hills. Drier with clearer skies and a few fog patches in southern England. Lows generally 4 to 7C.

Saturday
An area of low pressure passes to the north of Scotland quickly on Saturday. This brings strong winds and rain with it to central and northern Scotland. Periods of rain and drizzle in Ireland and northern England too, as well as the west and north of Wales on Saturday afternoon. Breezier here as well. By then it may be a little cooler, brighter and drier in central and northern Scotland. Central and southern England tending to cloud up in the afternoon with low cloud over the hills of the Midlands. Highs at a very mild 10 to 12C.

Sunday
High pressure stays to the south, keeping many places dry and dull. Some rain and drizzle in the north-west as fronts continue to drift in from the Atlantic. The best of any sunshine is likely in the east and south. Breezy in the north. Light winds in the south, with some low level fog possible. Generally mild, highs 8 to 12C.
