A cloudy start for many with some patchy light rain, mainly away from northern areas. During the afternoon, thicker cloud and a more organized band of rain will spread eastwards from the west. Highs of 16C in the south and 12C in the north.

 
 
 

Tuesday
Early rain across northern and eastern areas will soon clear, followed by scattered showers developing inland through the day. Showers will be most frequent across Ireland and Scotland, with a few becoming heavy. Highs of 18C in the south and 14C in the north.
