Most showers will gradually clear through the evening, with only a few lingering across northern England. Clearer skies will develop across southern and central England, as well as northern Scotland. Temperatures falling to 8C in the south and 3C in the north.

 
 
 

Saturday
A mostly dry and bright start with plenty of sunny spells, although a few showers may affect northern England. Rain will move into southwest England during the morning before spreading into Wales later in the day. Ireland will enjoy largely dry and sunny conditions, though cloudier skies are expected in the south. A marked contrast in temperatures, with highs of 20C across central and southern England and Wales, but only 12C across Ireland and Scotland.

Sunday
A few showers across southern England during the morning will soon clear away. Elsewhere, it will be a dry day with some bright spells. Later in the afternoon, a low pressure system will bring rain into Scotland along with strengthening northerly winds. Highs of 15C in the far south, but closer to 12C elsewhere.
