Thursday Broken cloud through the morning with he best of any sunny spells in the south of England and Wales as well as much of Ireland. More cloud in northern England and Scotland. Mostly dry, but just a few spots of showery rain over western coasts and hills. This afternoon sees further showers developing through Wales and northern England as well as central Scotland. Scattered showers in East Anglia too. Cloud and rain in the far west of Scotland. Tops at 12 to 16C.
Thursday Night A few showers tonight over parts of Wales and northern England. Further showers and bursts of rain in western Scotland, breezy in the northwest too. Drier for other areas, clearer skies in the southeast. Lows at 4 to 7C.
Friday A cold front will give cloud and outbreaks of rain in parts of Ireland, northern England and southern Scotland. Scattered showers in central England, tending to become heavier into the afternoon, possibly thundery. A few showery bursts of rain for southern Ireland in nthe afternoon. Brighter in the far south of England and then later in northwest Scotland. Highs at 9 to 12C in Scotland and northern oarts of Ireland, a milder 15 to 19C over most of England and Wales.
Saturday A front pushing into southern England on Saturday bringing cloud and periods of thundery rain. This rain arriving in the south of Wales too. A front gives cloud to northern England and north Wales with showery bursts of rain here. Generally drier in central and eastern areas of England. Showers in the far north of Scotland. Ireland will be breezy and dry with broken cloud. Highs at a cold 8 to 10C in northern areas, 20C in southern England.
