Thursday
Rain in Ireland, west Wales and southwest England on Thursday morning, breezy here too. Cloudy and murky for northern parts of the the British Isles, brighter towards the south. The rain passes north and east through the afternoon to reach southwest Scotland, northwest England and the north and west of Wales, although it will become increasingly light and drizzly. Dry in the north and east of Scotland, rain in central Scotland by evening. A few showery bits of rain across central and southern England but many places staying dry here. Becoming brighter in Ireland although staying breezy. Tops near 21C in eastern England, 16C in the west.

Thursday Night
Overnight, cloud and patchy rain gradually clears from northeast Scotland leaving mostly dry conditions with clear spells behind, though blustery showers are expected on to western regions. Winds will strengthen. Lows at 8 to 12C.

 
 
 

Friday
Low pressure will be west of Scotland on Friday. The day is likely to be bright and mostly dry with some good sunny spells in much of England and eastern Wales. Windy with showers in Ireland, heaviest in the west and south, only a few in the east. Further showers in western Scotland and western Wales. The showers in western Scotland merging to longer spells of rain later. Highs at 22 to 23C in central and eastern England, 16C in western Scotland and western Ireland.

Saturday
Low pressure is expected to be to the northwest of Scotland on Saturday. Showers may merge to longer spells of rain in northern and western Scotland, Northern Ireland as well as northern and western regions of Ireland where it will be windy. Other areas are set to be dry with some bright or sunny spells and feeling breezy. Tops at 12C in western Scotland, 15 to 17C for many, but to 20 to 23C over much of England away from western coasts.
