Thursday
Rain will be passing east through the country on Thursday morning. The rain will fall heavy at times across nrthern counties of Ireland into Wales and on through central England as the day progresses. Do expect strong to gale force winds across much of southern Ireland, Wales and central and southern England. The rain will clear eastwards through the afternoon, although may linger in East Anglia and southeast England until evening. Rather cloudy skies follow with a few bright spells, but also showers to follow, some of these likely heavy in places. Highs at 12 to 18C.

Thursday Night
Showers continue into the evening but fade for many overnight, western areas, however, still hanging on to a few on that brisk westerly wind. Some of the showers persisting into Friday morning through western Scotland, central Ireland and Wales. Lows at 8 to 12C in the north, 14 to 16C further south.
 

Friday
Pressure builds through Friday allowing for the day to become brighter and sunnier, however, still expect some showers across particularly western areas as well as through central regions of England. Some of these showers continue through the afternoon, particularly across north and west Scotland, but many will become drier and see a fine end to the day while feeling warm in the sun and sheltered from the wind. Highs at 16 to 23C.

Saturday
High pressure sits over southern Ireland and southwest England on Saturday allowing for many across the UK and Ireland to see a dry and generally fine day with sunny spells and feeling warm. Lower pressure circulates over Shetland, however, and will bring some blustery conditions, sun and showers to Scotland and places in northern England. Longer spells of rain for the very far north of Scotland. Highs at a 17C in Scotland, 27C in southern England.
