Rain persistent north-west
Breezy, but humid south

Saturday
A south-westerly breeze and fronts passing eastwards during the day. Outbreaks of rain reaching central & eastern England in the morning should fade, leaving rain or drizzle mostly confined to western regions, mainly over the hills. Western Scotland sees persistent rain, heavy at times by afternoon. Mostly cloudy, some sun south & east. Southern England likely dry all day. Highs 15 to 20C north & west, a humid 22 to 25C Midlands & south-east.

Saturday night
Rain continues for Scotland and Northern Ireland, with some persistent rain also for north-west England and spreading to north & west Wales as a cold front sinks southwards overnight. Patchy rain or drizzle for south-west England. Small amounts of rain reaching north-eastern Britain. Central & south-eastern areas staying largely dry with clear spells. Breezy, gusty westerly winds. Mild overall, lows 12 to 16C, perhaps cooler far north.

Sunday
A weakening cold front slips southwards and pressure builds from the west. Cloudy skies and a risk of patchy rain or drizzle for central & northern England & Wales, mainly focused over western hills, tending to fade. Brighter skies following from the north-west. A fresh westerly breeze for northern areas. Cool with a few showers for north-west Scotland. A humid 23 to 26C in eastern England, nearer 16 to 19C north & west.

Monday
High pressure centred across the British Isles brings a fair day with plenty of sunshine for most places. A weakening cold front affects the south, with variable cloud and perhaps a local shower, but should soon fade. A westerly breeze for northern Scotland may produce a few drizzly showers for the North-west Highlands. A fresh easterly breeze for English Channel coasts. Light winds elsewhere. A fresh feel, temperatures 17 to 22C.
