Saturday
A ridge of high pressure persists over Southern Britain but with frontal troughs affecting the north. The north and west of Scotland and some northern and western parts of Ireland will have rain or drizzle at times but the east will stay mostly dry with some sunny intervals. Dry for much of England and Wales with some sunshine breaking through once any mist or fog has cleared, although this may a slow process for some parts of Central England and East Wales. Once again, though, Northwest England and some northern and western parts of Wales will be cloudier, the cloud perhaps thick enough to give a few spots of rain or drizzle in Cumbria. Breezy in the north and west. Milder generally, highs 14 to 18C.

Saturday Night
Further rain or drizzle around the north and west of Scotland and Northern and Western Ireland, with some drizzly outbreaks in Northwest England and the north and west of Wales. The rest of England and Wales will be dry but with some mist and fog forming, especially in the south. A relatively mild night, lows 7 to 13C.
 

Sunday
Pressure remain high across much of Britain and Ireland but with a cold front moving south as a weakening feature. Still some rain or drizzle about at first in the north and west of Scotland and Ireland, locally heavy on western hill slopes but becoming confined gradually to the far north of Scotland, with some sunshine breaking through elsewhere. Dry again for much of England and Wales with variable cloud cover and some sunshine but with a foggy start for some, especially in the south. The north of England, North and West Wales will be cloudier with some light rain or drizzle, though. Breezy in the northwest, with strong to gale force winds in the far north of Scotland later. Highs 11 to 15C in the north, 17 to 18C in the south and southeast.

Monday
A ridge of high pressure over much of the British Isles, slipping south. Frontal troughs slow-moving near to Northern Scotland. Cloudy across the north and northwest of Scotland with spells of rain or drizzle but dry and bright for remaining areas with some sunshine, although the northwest will tend to be cloudier. A cool west to northwesterly breeze with strong winds in the north. Cooler generally, highs 10 to 13C.
