Thursday
Rain this morning in northern England and southern Scotland, most of it showery. The rain band passes north through Scotland and will then clear the north coast by early afternoon. Another area of rain associated with a cold front will be passing through Ireland bringing some brisk winds with it. Dry in England and Wales at first with some sunny spells, but rather breezy. Increasing cloud in western areas bringing rain this afternoon, the rain band turning more showery as it passes east into the afternoon and evening. Highs at 24C in East Anglia, 15C in the west.

Thursday Night
Showery rain affecting eastern England and eastern Scotland this evening, this clearing into the North SEa. Drier weather follows for a time before the main weather of the night arrives in the west. An area of storm force winds blows into Ireland by midnight. These severe gles spreading to the west of the UK together wind heavy periods of rain. Lows at 10 to 15C.
 

Friday
A deep area of low pressure will be west of Ireland on Friday, moving northeast. This brings severe gales to many with gusts of over 70mph in Scotland and the west of England, Wales. These winds could be above 80mph around northern Ireland. These will be strong enough to give some damage to trees and cause disruption. There will also be rain, some of it heavy, especially in the west. Perhaps becoming brighter with some showers in Ireland. Drier in southeast England. Tops at 20C in southeast England, 15C in Ireland.

Saturday
Another area of low pressure passes northeast through Ireland on Saturday. This brings rain into Ireland and the west and north of the UK. Eastern and southern areas are likely to be drier with some sunny spells. A few showers may affect southern coasts of England in the afternoon. Becoming brighter in Ireland with sunny spells and some showers. Highs at 14C in Ireland and western Scotland, up to 24C in eastern England.
