Tuesday
Some bright or sunny spells across Central and south-eastern areas of England to start today. Elsewhere plenty of cloud. Some drizzle will be affecting north-western Scotland and there could be some localised and drizzle over western facing coasts and hills. This afternoon again sees plenty of cloud, but some sunny spells to across more central and eastern areas. Further drizzle and low cloud for western facing coasts and hills with more persistent rain arriving in West wales, southern Ireland and south-west England. There could also be some persistent rain in the west of Scotland whilst the east is drier. Highs at 22 to 24C in the sunshine in centrala nd southern England, a cooler 15 to 17C in the north and west but 19C in central Ireland.

Tuesday Night
Rain spills through much of England and Wales as well as Ireland overnight. Showers in the west of Scotland. Eastern Scotland and northeast England will be drier but again cloudy. Lows at 9 to 14C.

 
 
 

Wednesday
Cloudy and damp on Wednesday morning as fronts pass eastwards. Most of the rain in western Wales, northwest England and southwest Scotland. The rain should clear fromt Scotland and northern England through this afternoon and as it does so the sun will come out. This leads to a mainly dry afternoon for all but northwest Scotland where there will be some showers. Highs to 24C in Eastern and southern England, 21C in eastern Scotland and Ireland but just 15C in northwest Scotland.

Thursday
A front trails through southern Ireland, Wales, central and eastern England bringing cloud and rain or drizzle through Thursday morning, most of it in the west. A few brighter spells in the far south of England although always the risk of low cloud on coasts. Showery bursts of rain and lots of cloud for western Scotland. Highs at 26C in sunshine in southeast England, generally 20 to 23C and 15C in northwest Scotland.
