Plenty of cloud
Dense fog in places

Sunday
High pressure over central, south and east England keeps conditions dry but still on the chilly side here with frost for many to start the day and also some dense fog about. Southwesterly breezes in the north and west bring milder but damp and wet conditions with low cloud, patchy rain and drizzle pushing eastwards across Ireland, Northern Ireland and Wales mostly but also affecting northern England with snow over the hills here. Highs 3 to 10C.

Sunday night
Overnight, it stays cold with frost developing again cross southern and SE England along with dense freezing fog. Elsewhere, cloud remains with some mist and fog patches keeping conditons murky for some. Patchy rain and drizzle about but most staying dry. Lows below zero across central and southern England, 2 to 7C further north and west.

Monday
A chilly, frosty and in places foggy start across southern and eastern parts of England. Staying cool throughout the day with the fog stubborn to lift in places. Elsewhere will continue to be cloudy, murky and damp within a southwesterly airflow, possible heavier rainfall across parts of northern Scotland for a time. Highs 5 to 11C, coolest if in fog.

Tuesday
Still a chilly and frosty start across far southern and southeastern areas of England where some mist and fog may be stubborn to lift again through Tuesday. Dry through here. Some patchy light rain and drizzle across parts of Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland where some developing sunny intervals are possible breaking up what is otherwise a cloudy day across these regions. Highs 4 to 12C, mildest west and northwest.
