Mostly dry Sunday
Mixed Monday/Tuesday

Sunday
High pressure across the south of Britain will produce a dry, sunny and warm day for much of England, Wales and Scotland. Fronts drifting in from the Atlantic bring thickening cloud for Northern Ireland, and some rain moving into the west of Ireland, which may extend to western Scotland on a strengthening southwesterly breeze as the day progresses. Temperatures widely reaching 18 to 22C, but up to 24C in the southeast.

Sunday night
Rain eases to showers for western Ireland overnight but spreads to Scotland as well as northwestern parts of England and Wales. Cloud thickens overnight for eastern areas but it stays mostly dry for much of England and Wales. Overnight lows at 8 to 11C for many, milder over the island of Ireland and the southeast of the UK.

Monday
High pressure to the southeast brings dry weather much of the day for central, south and eastern England. Sunshine will cloud over as fronts spread from the northwest. Rain will already affect Ireland and northwestern Britain early in the day, this rain becoming more widespread into Wales and the north Midlands as the day progreses. A southwesterly breeze strengthening. Highs at 17 to 25C, warmest south.

Tuesday
A generally unsettled day is likely with areas of rain or showers passing eastwards. A risk of some heavy bursts with local thunder. Some rain may persist for a few hours, but locally some areas may escape mostly dry, with the southwest perhaps faring best overall. A lot of cloud. A moderate westerly breeze, strongest toward the south. Temperatures varied, cooler if rain lingers. Highs range from 13 to 22C.
