Saturday
A chilly start with some frost about and mist and fog in the west. Cloudier skies further east with patchy rain along eastern counties, patchy rain through northern and central regions of Scotland still. Through the day the rain in the east pushes further west across England though many will stay dry. Meanwhile a more active frontal system moves rain eastwards across Ireland, Northern Ireland and into far western regions of the UK by later in the day. Highs at a chilly 6 to 9C.

Saturday Night
Rain clears from the west overnight though many western areas then seeing showers, some frequent and heavy. Eastern areas waking to cloud and spells of rain. Lows dropping behind the rain to around 1 to 7C though a few places could see a touch of frost.

 
 
 

Sunday
Rain gradually clearing most far eastern areas Sunday morning though expect still spells of rain to affect north and east Scotland. Elsewhere will see a mix of sunny spells and showers, though always more cloud cover further north and the showers mostly affecting western areas where over higher ground are likely to fall as sleet, and snow. A chilly day with highs at 6 to 10C.
 

Monday
After a chilly and largely dry start for many an area of low pressure moves across the country bringing spells of rain, often heavy and persistent, from west to east across Wales and England and south to north through Scotland. Rain largely clearing Wales, the Midlands and southwest England through the day seeing drier and brighter weather here but it will be windy. Highs around 7 to 11C.
