A misty start to the day in England and Wales with some fog patches in places. Low cloud may affect western coasts and hills with some spots of drizzle here and there. Bright or sunny spells developing as the mist and fog lifts. Always staying cloudier in the west, especially in western Scotland ands western Ireland where there is the highest risk of drizzle. best of the sunshine in central and eastern areas. Highs at a mild 10 to 14C.


Friday Night
Becoming breezy in Ireland and western Scotland as mainly light rain affects these areas. Eastern Scotland and eastern Ireland should be mostly dry. For England and Wales there will always be more cloud in the west, but eastern parts should be staying drier with some clear spells coming through. Lows at 2 to 6C.
 


Saturday
Plenty of cloud over much of Scotland, western Wales, Ireland and northwest England on Saturday. There could be some drizzle on the hills and coasts in the west too. More eastern and southern areas should be drier and brighter with sunny spells developing, although everywhere is likely to see cloud. Highs at 10 to 13C.
 


Sunday
A cold front brings a band of rain through Ireland on Sunday morning. The rain then reaching western Scotland, western Wales and western England by late morning, before tracking across the rest of Scotland, northern, central and southern England as a much weakened feature in the afternoon. A drier and brighter start in central and eastern parts. Becoming windy in the west with brighter weather and some heavy showers following to Ireland. Highs at 10 to 13C.
