Mainly Dry North, Showery Elsewhere.

Monday
During Bank Holiday Monday and many areas of England and Wales will be at risk of scattered heavy showers or possible thunderstorms too. These may transfer northwards into southern Scotland through the day, but overall much of Scotland will maintain a lot of dry weather with plenty of sunshine too. A very warm and humid day this more noticeable than previous days primarily due to lighter winds. Highs 17C to 25C.

Monday Night
An on-going risk of some showers or possible thunderstorms is likely to continue across areas of England and Wales during the evening and perhaps evening into the first part of the night. Elsewhere though and after a dry evening with sunny spells Monday night will be dry with plenty of clear spells and variable cloud. A mild or rather warm night, especially in towns and cities. Lows 8C to 15C.

Tuesday
Into Tuesday and at the moment warm or very warm and humid conditions will continue across many areas but with pressure continuing to fall then there may well be a greater risk of some heavy showers or thunderstorms developing almost anywhere during the day. Scotland, however, may maintain mainly dry and sunny conditions as high pressure persists just to the north and north-east. Winds E or SE'ly light, but variable inland. Highs 16C to 24C, lowest temps near to the east coast.

Wednesday
While there remains some uncertainties over the details regarding shower distribution by Wednesday it remains likely that more unsettled conditions are possible nationwide with many areas at risk of seeing some showers and these still potentially heavy and thundery as the day progresses too. Drier and brighter, if not sunnier conditions still likely mind in-between the showers. Still warm but temperatures a degree or two lower than previous days. Highs 15C to 22C.
