Largely dry
Fog in south

Saturday
High pressure will be to the south of the country on Saturday. A frosty and foggy start for some again particularly through central and eastern parts of England. Some lower cloud may affect western coasts of England, Wales and Scotland with a risk of drizzle here. The best of any brightness is likely to be across more eastern areas and where the fog lifts. Highs at 5 to 8C for most.

Saturday Night
A rather cloudy night with patchy light rain and drizzle about, mainly towards western regions. Some clear skies further east where it will be cooler and temperatures will hover around or just below zero. More persistent spells of rain across the north and northwest Scotland coming through during the early hours. Lows at 0C in the east to 5C further west.

Sunday
A front sinks south down the country on Sunday bringing some outbreaks of rain through England and Wales, clearing from the north through the day where cooler air pulls south. Drier, brighter and feeling cooler further north, though showery rain affecting the west Highlands. Highs at 6 to 11C.

Monday
A morning frost is to be expected. Staying dry throughout though mist and fog will be around across particularly England and Wales. A brisker wind is expected across Northern Ireland and Scotland. Highs around 5 to 9C.
