Cloudier northwest Scotland with a risk of some low cloud and drizzle here. Further hot sunshine for most into this afternoon with broken cloud and sunny spells across Ireland and Scotland. Further low cloud in northwest Scotland. Highs at 34C in central England, 29 to 32C for many other parts, 25C in eastern Scotland, 25C in southern Ireland and 16C in northwest Scotland and northwest Ireland.
Thursday Night A warm night under clear skies in much of England and Wales. Scattered cloud for much of Scotland and Ireland. Low cloud and mist or fog drifting onto western coasts of Wales and southwest England as well as western Ireland. Lows at 20C in southern England, 15 to 17C for most.
Friday Lower pressure south of the country on Friday with a ridge extending through northern parts of Ireland and Scotland. More hot sunshine across much of England and Wales as low cloud in the west drifts away. Cloud in northern Scotland due to a weak front drifting south bringing the risk of some patchy rain here. Broken cloud in southern and southeastern England with sunny spells too. Highs at 26 to 33C in England and wales, 26C in southern Ireland, 25C in southern Scotland and 18C in northern Scotland.
Saturday An east to northeast flow across much of the British isles on Saturday. Cloud from the weakening front in Scotland and the chance of a few spots of rain over hills in the south. Eastern coasts of England may have some low cloud at times too. Sunshine and dry in the west and the south. A hot day at 31C in southern England, 17 to 20C in the cloudier parts of Scotland.
