Friday A dry and sunny morning for eastern Scotland and eastern England. Further west, it will be a cloudier start with a few heavy showers developing across Ireland, Wales and southwest England. During the afternoon, showers will become more widespread across Wales and parts of central England, while western Scotland sees only a few scattered showers. Highs of 25C in the south, but nearer 16C in the northwest.
Friday Night Showers will gradually move eastwards across England and Scotland through the evening and overnight, becoming mostly confined to eastern coastal areas by the early hours. Wales will turn largely dry, while scattered showers continue around Irish coasts. Minimum temperatures of 14C in the southeast and 9C in the northwest.
Saturday A largely dry start inland with some sunny spells, although showers will continue around coastal districts. Through the morning, and especially into the afternoon, frequent heavy showers are expected across Ireland, Scotland, Wales and southwest England. Central and eastern England should stay mainly dry until later in the day before showers begin to spread eastwards. Highs of 23C in the southeast, but only 12C in the northwest.
Sunday A rather cloudy day with widespread showers, these turning heavy and perhaps thundery across central and southern Ireland, Wales, and central and southern England. Further north, showers will generally be lighter, though skies remain mostly cloudy. Highs of 19C in the south, but only around 10C in the north.
