Heavy rain continues to affect parts of the Mediterranean through the weekend


Saturday
Heavy showers clear to the east of Spain and Portugal to leave a bright day here. Rain may linger along the northern coast. Showers for the Balearic Islands while Corsica, Sardinia and western and northern parts of Italy see heavy rain. A few showers around for Greece and Turkey but, on the whole, it's a mostly dry and bright day here.
Further outbreaks of rain for France, these heaviest to the south. A dry day for the Low Countries, Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary. Switzerland and Austria are mostly dry and bright though snow is expected over the Alps.
A dry, bright and breezy day for Denmark, Finland and the Baltic States. Early showers ease over Sweden and Norway to leave a dry and fine day here too.

Sunday
Sunday is mostly dry and bright for Spain and Portugal though cloud builds from the northwest through the afternoon bringing rain here later. Further heavy rainfall affects the Balearic Islands, Corsica, Sardinia and much of Italy. This spreads east into western Greece later. A few showers for eastern Greece and across Turkey but another mostly dry and bright day here.
A few isolated showers affect France before heavy rain arrives to the far northwest late in the day. A dry and fine day for much of Europe including the Low Countries, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary.
Dry and fine conditions reach into northern Europe too with Denmark, Norway, Sweden and the Baltic States seeing a fair day too on Sunday. A few snow showers affect central and northern parts of Finland but otherwise a fair day here as well.
