Friday
A hot day across much of England, Wales and the far south of Ireland. High pressure brings dry and sunny conditions to these areas. Thicker cloud, some rain, though mainly affecting western areas as well as stronger winds in Scotland. More cloud and some patchy rain in Northern Ireland slipping into northern England and central Ireland by late morning and early afternoon, fading as it heads south. Drier, fresher weather follows to central and northern Scotland later. Highs at 33C in southeast England, widely 24 to 28C, and a cooler 15 to 17C in Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Friday Night
Broken cloud pushes southwards overnight but it should stay dry for much of England and Wales, with exception to some northwestern regions seeing some patchy rain. Windy across Scotland with rain becoming more widespread in the west here, Drier elsewhere. Lows at a cooler 6 to 8 in the north, though still muggy at 13 to 19C further south.
 

Saturday
Outbreaks of thundery rain, likely heavy in places too, will affect some southern and central English counties as well as parts of Wales on Saturday, though staying dry and hot across the far south and SE England. Cooler for Scotland and the north of Ireland as well as northern England. Some sunny spells here with plenty of dry weather but also showers, mainly affecting western areas. Much of Ireland will be dry with sunny spells. Highs at 15 to 18C for most, but to a muggy 28C in the far south and south-east.

Sunday
An area of low pressure over the Biscay on Sunday will continue to bring some thundery showery rain across many central and southern English counties perhaps more focus with that heavier rain is on the SE of England today. Brighter, drier and fresher further north with sunny spells though the odd coastal shower cannot be ruled out. Highs widely at 16 to 20C, though cooler across northern Scotland.
