Wednesday
Dry with plenty of sun on Wednesday across England, Wales, and Ireland. High pressure east of Scotland brings a southeasterly wind to most, some sea cloud likely affecting northeast areas where temperatures will be cooler. Some cloud and light patchy rain possible in East Anglia too. Further showers arriving in the far southwest of England through the morning, these moving into Wales and Ireland. Mostly dry for the afternoon with more sunshine, though always the chance of showers in southern Wales and the far south of England. Highs at 17C along eastern coasts, 28C in southern England.

Wednesday Night
Little change overnight as showers continue to affect Wales and central/southern England. Most areas see cloud-free skies, only eastern coasts (mostly north of East Anglia) seeing any persistence of cloud. The southeasterly breeze continues. Lows of 9C inland Scotland to 16C southern England, as well as coastal Wales and northwest coastal Ireland.
 

Thursday
An area of showery rain across Wales, the Midlands and East Anglia on Thursday morning. This area of rain moving into northern England in the afternoon, although it is only showery. Broken cloud and sunny spells as well as mostly dry conditions elsewhere, but some low cloud developing over western coasts and hills. Dry with decent spells of sunshine in Scotland. Later in the day, Ireland is cloudier with scattered drizzly showers. Highs at 28C in central and southern England, 22C in Scotland and Ireland.

Friday
A ridge of high pressure builds back across the country on Friday. Probably more cloud around, although this breaks with sunny spells. A risk of a few showers in northwest Scotland where the cloud will be thicker and linger well into the day, and also a notable westerly breeze here. Highs at 29C in southeast England, 18 to 21C Ireland, 19C in Scotland but 15C in northwest Scotland.
