Morning mist and fog patches through central, southern and southeastern England. This lifting to leave dry conditions with sunny spells. Staying dry into the afternoon allowing for some bright or sunny spells to continue. Cloudier skies in Scotland and across northern and western Ireland. Just a hint of some spots of drizzle in western Scotland too. Breezy weather here too. Highs at 6 to 8C.


Tuesday Night
Windier weather in Scotland and Ireland tonight. This brings more cloud, the thickest of it in the west where there could be outbreaks of rain. More rain in western Ireland, with the chance of some drizzle in western Wales and the coasts of northwest England. Drier with clearer skies in the east and south. Some fog patches forming in central, eastern and southern England with a frost developing and lows at -3C in the south, 5C in western Scotland and Ireland where there will be more cloud.


Wednesday
A cold front spreading east through Scotland and Ireland on Wednesday. This brings outbreaks of showery rain with it. Brighter weather although with some showers follows into Ireland, northern and western Scotland. Drier and brighter with an early frost and some fog in much of England and eastern Wales. The fog lifting to leave sunny spells and dry weather. Highs at 6 to 8C.


Thursday
A windy day for all on Thursday as a shallow area of low pressure crosses northern Scotland. This bringing heavy periods of rain into Scotland, northwest England, Wales and parts of Ireland. Drier in eastern and southern parts of England with some bright periods in the far southeast. Gales or severe gales in the north. Highs at a cool 7C in the south, a milder 11C in Scotland.
