Saturday
A low pressure trough extends across the country on Saturday. This brings cloud and some showery outbreaks of rain. The showers could be heavy and thundery at times as well as slow moving. A few bright spells between the showers. Showers easing for most into the evening. High temperatures generally ranging from 14 to 19C but cooler in Scotland at just 10 to 14C.
 


Saturday Night
A few showery outbreaks of rain lingering for western parts of Scotland and Ireland overnight but elsewhere it should stay dry. There will be varying amounts of cloud around with clearer skies over Ireland and northern and eastern parts of England. Overnight lows generally falling to 7 to 11C, though under clearer skies they could drop to just 5 or 6C.
 


Sunday
Low pressure remains on Sunday with a northwest to northerly breeze affecting most areas. Some bright spells but also showers developing, particularly in the east. The showers could turn heavy and thundery at times. High temperatures widely reaching 14 to 17C. Feeling cooler in the northwest at just 12C while some favoured spots in the southeast could see 20 or 21C.
 


Monday
Low pressure to the east of the UK with higher pressure building to the west. There will be a mix of sunny spells and showers in many areas, most of these affecting eastern parts of the UK and Ireland. Drier and brighter for Wales, Northern Ireland and western parts of England and Scotland. Highs at just 12C in the northwest but up to 20C in southern England, more generally 14 to 17C.
