A cooler day for all. Plenty of sunshine for all parts of England and Wales, a few bits of cloud in southern areas. Thicker cloud affecting central and southern Scotland as well as central Ireland. This could produce spots of rain over the hills of Scotland and central Ireland. Brighter in northern Scotland with sunny spells and cool here. Feeling especially chilly on eastern coasts. Highs at 8C over northern and eastern coasts, 10 to 12C in central and western areas.

Friday Night
A chilly and breezy night ahead. Frosty in central and western areas as well as in central Scotland. Clear skies for many but some cloud over eastern coasts, together with a scattering of wintry showers. Lows around -1C in western areas and in centra Scotland, closer to 6C in the east.
 

Saturday
High pressure west of Scotland on Saturday. A stiff breeze across England and Wales making it feel especially chilly. A few showers over eastern coasts of Scotland and England. Cloudier and cold in Ireland, a few showers in the north. The best of any sunshine over western Scotland. Highs at 5C on eastern coasts of England and Scotland, 8 to 10C in most other areas.
 

Sunday
A cool day again with a northeast wind and a few showers around northern and eastern coasts. Elsewhere it will be dry with sunny spells, the best of the sunshine in the west and across Ireland. Cloudier skies over northern and eastern coastal areas. Highs around 6 to 8C.
