Monday
A colder day to come across Britain and feeling colder along North Sea coasts as brisk north west winds develop during the day. While there will be some occasional sunshine, expect a good deal of cloud. An area of showery rain across eastern parts of Scotland will spread into northern England, most of it quite light. Apart from the odd shower, the south will be dry. Expect maximums of 8 to 12 Celsius.


Monday Night
In the evening light outbreaks of rain through The Midlands and East Anglia will sweep away t the south east. A dry evening for the rest of Britain with cloud breaking to some late sunshine. Overnight much of Britain will be dry. It will become cold and with clear spells, a frost is likely to form along with some mist and fog. Expect minimum temperatures of -2 to 2 Celsius.


Tuesday
A cold, frosty start to the day with mist and fog soon clearing. Scattered showers are expected across eastern parts of England a cold north east wind prevailing. Western parts of the country will be fair and dry with the best of the sunshine. A cloudy night across Northern Ireland and north west Scotland with patchy outbreaks of light rain. A cold, clear night for England and Wales with a widespread and sharp frost. Turning misty as well by morning. Temperatures will be below normal with tops of 8 to 11 Celsius.


Wednesday
Another cold, frosty start across England and Wales. Light outbreaks of rain and drizzle to affect Northern Ireland and western Scotland through the day. Brighter and dry across eastern Scotland. A good deal of low cloud in the north will drift into England and Wales during the evening and night. Expect some drizzly rain in the west with mist over the hills. In the extreme south of England skies may be clear allowing a frost to develop. Highs of 10 to 14 Celsius.
