Cloudy, western rain
Mild tonight

Saturday
A mostly cloudy start to the day across most of the UK and Ireland. There will always be the chance of a few brighter spells over eastern parts of Scotland and eastern England with thicker cloud and some outbreaks of rain in Ireland, west Wales and then southwest Scotland later in the morning. These outbreaks of rain continue for many this afternoon, although they should ease in west Wales. central and southern England as well as central and eastern Scotland are likely to be mostly dry although some drizzle or light rai affects windward facing hills. Windy in the south during the morning, this easing into the afternoon. Highs at 10 to 14C.


Saturday Night
A band of rain and stronger winds passing through Northern Ireland, northern England and Scotland overnight. Patchy rain affects Ireland with drizzle at times over the hills of Wales and western England. A few showers in northern Scotland. Elsewhere it should be dry although mostly cloudy. Lows at 5 to 9C.
 


Sunday
Low pressure to the north of Scotland on Sunday. A front passes south taking some outbreaks of rain with it through southern Ireland, Wales and northern England. Drier and cloudy to the south, although a few bright spells in eastern England. Sunny spells and a few showers in northern and western Scotland, but drier in the east with sunny spells here. Highs at 8 to 14C.
 


Monday
An area of low pressure swings through Scotland on Monday. This takes an area of showers or longer periods of rain with it. Following from the west will be cooler conditions with a mix of sunshine and blustery showers. The showers could be heavy at times across northern and western Scotland and well as across northern and western Ireland. Highs at 8 to 12C.
