Sunday
Any early sunshine across eastern Scotland and East Anglia will soon give way to cloudy skies. Most places will be cloudy this morning And a weak front will give some patchy bits of rain to Wales The Midlands and Lincolnshire. Showers will affect the far north of Scotland during the day and these look heavy across The Northern Isles. Elsewhere some patchy drizzle may linger mainly over the hills of Wales and Cornwall through the afternoon. Expect maximum temperatures of 16 to 19 Celsius for Scotland and Northern Ireland, and 19 to 24 Celsius across England and Wales.

Sunday Night
Further showers are expected across the northern half of Scotland in the evening but these clear the Northern Isles. The bulk of England and Wales will have a dry evening and the cloud tends to break across Wales, Northern Ireland and northern England. Overnight some light rain affects the north west of Scotland. Elsewhere it's a dry night with clear spells through central parts of Britain. Expect minimum temperatures of 10 to 15 Celsius.

Monday
A warmer, more summery day to come. Morning rain across Shetland and showers across north west Scotland in the morning clears away. Most parts of the United Kingdom will be dry today with good sunny spells, although the extreme south of England along with western parts of Scotland may see more in the way of cloud. A fine, pleasantly warm evening to come across Britain with lots of early evening sunshine on offer. A dry night will follow with clear skies for most. Expect highs of 19 to 26 Celsius.

Tuesday
It remains quite warm today and it will also be turning more humid through the day as low pressure and a warm front approach from the south. The winds will also pick up from the south east. Lots of sunshine around today and for many area it's a dry day. There is a chance of showers across western parts of England, Wales and Scotland in the afternoon. In the evening heavy, thundery rain may reach Wales and south west England before tracking up into much of England overnight. Expect highs of 20 to 26 Celsius.
