Wednesday
A rather windy day with plenty of cloud for many. There will be outbreaks of drizzle, mostly on western coasts and hills. The drizzle turning to more persistent rain at times with plenty of hills fog too. More southeastern parts of the country, and those areas sheltered from the wind are going to be seeing drier conditions and a few bright or sunny spells coming through. Mild in these areas too with highs at 13 to 17C.


Wednesday Night
Staying damp and cloudy through tonight, breezy too. There will be further outbreaks of drizzle and rain in more western areas, especially on the hills where there will also be fog. To the east and south it should be drier although rather cloudy. Drizzly and some outbreaks of rain in Ireland. Lows near 10 to 13C.
 


Thursday
Low pressure to the west of Ireland with high pressure to the east. A south to southwest flow brings mild air through all areas. There will be periods of rain, some of them heavy on the hills and coasts. Heavy showers follow through Ireland, some of them thundery. Eastern parts of the country will be cloudy, although that breaking to allow for some bright or sunny spells coming through. Highs at 13 to 17C.


Friday
Low pressure is in control of the weather through Friday with temperatures remaining above normal. It stays unsettled with an area of rain passing east followed by heavy showers. The showers could be thundery at times. Highs of 11 to 19C.
