A weak front is going to be bringing cloud and some patchy outbreaks of rain through southern Scotland and Ireland in the morning. Turning brighter in the rest of Scotland and Ireland, although another band of cloud and showery rain will be pushing south through the Shetland Isles and into northern England. Brighter and dry for England and Wales with broken cloud here and some good spells of sunshine. Some patchy rain ,ay affect northwestern hills in the afternoon. A few showers too along southern coasts of England this evening. Highs near 26C in the sunshine in the southeast, 22 to 25C for much of England and Wales. 14 to 19C in Scotland and 17 to 19C in Ireland.

Friday Night
Scattered showers along southern coasts of England this evening and at first tonight, although these tending to fade. Some cloud along southern coasts too. Dry with clearer spells in much of England, Wales and Ireland, although thickening cloud affects central and northern Scotland. Highs at 10 to 12C.
 

Saturday
Low pressure over western Ireland on Saturday. Most of the UK should be fair with sunny spells, although there may be some morning cloud in the east. Scattered showers affecting western coasts and hills. The showers becoming heavier in Ireland in the afternoon as the winds increase here too, becoming near gale force, especially in the south and west. More persistent rain may affect western parts of Ireland later. Dry for many parts of England, Wales and Scotland, although still some showers in the west, and a scattering of showers over central Scotland. Heavy showers edging into Northern Ireland in the afternoon. Highs at 22C in the east, 16C in the west.

Sunday
Low pressure over Ireland brings an unsettled day across the British Isles on Sunday. There will be showers and longer spells of rain as well as strong winds affecting Ireland and much of the west of the UK. Drier and brighter in the east of England and Scotland with some sunny spells. Highs at 24C in the far east of England, but a much cooler 15C in Ireland and 17C in western areas of the UK.
