Cloud and thundery outbreaks of rain spreading north through southern England and Wales this morning. The easterly wind will be increasing with drier weather arriving in the east and slowly spreading westwards. Dry for northern England and Ireland as well as Scotland with some sunny spells. This afternoon brings further cloud in the south, some patchy rain in Wales and the far south of Ireland. Lots of sunshine in northern England and Scotland as well as Northern Ireland. Staying breezy in the south. Highs at a cold 13 or 14C in many parts of central England, Wales and Ireland, 21C in western Scotland.

Breezy and cloudy across the southern half of the UK and Ireland tonight. Some thundery rain in the south too. Only a few bits of rain elsewhere. Drier in northern England with lots of cloud. Clear spells across much of southern Scotland and Northern Ireland. Cloudier in northern Scotland. Lows at 6 to 9C.
 

Sunday
Cloudy and chilly with cloud and outbreaks of rain across much of England and Wales on Sunday. The rain could be heavy at times across central and eastern areas. Further ain could affect southern England too. Rather misty and murky here. Sunny spells and drier weather in Northern Ireland. Fair for Scotland, the best of the sunshine in western areas. A few showers for southern parts of Ireland. Highs at 13 to 16C in much of England and Wales, 20C in western Scotland.

Monday
Low pressure east of the country brings cloud and some outbreaks of rain to much of eastern England. There could be some showers and outbreaks of rain through more central areas as well as in Wales. Showers too in southern England. Much of northern England, Scotland and Ireland should be dry although with a fair amount of cloud. A few showers may affect central Scotland later. Highs at 19C in western Scotland and western Ireland, 15C in eastern England.
