Wednesday
There will be plenty of cloud on Wednesday and this will be bringing rain to western Scotland, western Wales and southwest England. Eastern parts of the country will also have lots of cloud with a few spots of drizzle over the hills of northern England and Scotland. Better sunshine for much of Ireland although Northern Ireland will be wet in the east at first. Temperatures rising to 6 to 10C.


Wednesday Night
A breezy and cool night. Cloud will be thickest in the west where there will be rain across the whole of Ireland. Outbreaks of rain affecting southwest England and western Wales too. Eastern coasts of England and Scotland may have a few showers. Drier elsewhere with the winds increasing. Lows at 0 to 4C in northern and eastern areas, 7C in the west.
 


Thursday
Low pressure over Ireland and southwest England on Thursday. Higher pressure to the eas. A strong southeast flow will be affecting all areas. A wet day in Ireland and southwest England with a risk of rain in the far west of Wales too. A few showers affecting eastern coasts of Scotland and northeast England. Dry and cold for other areas with a fair amount of cloud. Highs at 3 to 6C, 7C in Ireland and southwest England.


Friday
Low pressure west of Scotland on Friday with high pressure to the east of the UK again. Cloud in the west will be producing periods of patchy rain. A few showers on the eastern coasts of Scotland and northeast England. Dry and chilly in other areas with the cloud breaking and a few bright spells developing. Highs at a cold 3 to 6C in the UK, 11C in southern Ireland.
