A cold front clearing southern England and Wales early this morning taking cloud with is. A few spots of rain over hills, although these fading to the south. Brighter weather follows to Ireland, the rest of England and Wales as well as southern and eastern Scotland. More cloud in northern and western Scotland and windy across much of northern England and Scotland too. Rain turns to sleet and snow over the hills of western Scotland. Highs at 4C in northern Scotland, 10C in southern England with the cooler air pulling south through other ares during the day.


Tuesday Night
Increased cloud bringing outbreaks of rain in northern parts of Ireland, southwest Scotland and northwest England this evening and overnight. Scattered wintry showers in western Scotland, a risk of these being thundery in northern Scotland. Dry for other areas with clearer skies. Staying breezy in northern areas. Lows near 1 to 4C.
 


Wednesday
Some bright spells over southern and eastern England. Increased coud across Ireland and western parts of the UK with some outbreaks of rain. The cloud tends to increase through other areas. Staying damp in northern and western England and Wales as well as much of northern and western Ireland and southwest England. Showers in northeast Scotland. Tending to be drier and breezy in eastern and southern England. A milder day at 5 to 9C.


Thursday
A warm front passing east on Thursday. This brings lots of cloud to most areas. There will be spells of rain and drizzle crossing Ireland and northwest England as well as Scotland. Low cloud shrouds the hills and coasts here. Tending to become brighter in the south with some bright spells developing. Feeling milder too. Highs at 8 to 11C.
