Thursday
A weak front clears southern England early this morning, taking some outbreaks of patchy rain with it. Following will be breezy and bright conditions with mainly dry weather and plenty of sunshine. Showers in northern and western Scotland, these continuing into the afternoon, although they will be mostly light and passing. Just an odd shower could affect western coasts through the afternoon, driven by the brisk northwest wind. Most stay dry with plenty of sunshine. Highs at 10C in northern Scotland, 17C in southeast England.


Thursday Night
Any showers will be fading quickly this evening. That will leave a mostly dry night with clear skies and falling temperatures. Eastern coasts may stay breezy but elsewhere the winds will become light. Lows near 5 to 8C.

 
 
 


Friday
A ridge of high pressure builds through the UK and Ireland on Friday. It is likely to be a cool morning with good spells of sunshine for many. Just a low chance of a shower on the coasts of Norfolk. Thicker cloud and some patchy rain may affect western Ireland and the west of Scotland later in the afternoon. Highs at 11 to 16C.
 


Saturday
Fronts pass east on Saturday as the flow turns more westerly. The fronts bringing cloud and some outbreaks of rain through Ireland, Wales and Scotland with some drizzle in northern England. A few bright spells in southern and eastern England and later in the west. Highs at 13 to 16C.
